this most certainly was one of the very best purchases we have made and most beneficial. Surprising it is so inexpensive. It's the design and the idea which makes it great. We have a door which goes out to a second floor roof-deck and our storm-door has only got glass and no screen, so we were wanting ventilation but disliking the insects which were coming in. This was the perfect and elegant solution. And it was SO ridiculously easy to mount too. We mounted this between the door and the storm door, and we leave the storm door tied open and the inner door wide open and this screen door is a great and effective barrier to all insects. Our little yorkie-poo goes in and out and the weighted bottom makes it return to its place. Frankly, this is better and less expensive than had we gotten screens for the storm door and a doggie door both. So thus we are VERY happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to everyone.

I live in Florida and this screen keeps the mosquitos off our back porch very nicely. My 3 dogs don't have a problem walking thru it to the yard and with the weighted bottom, the screen falls nicely back into place. Screen is well made and seems to be very sturdy. I had previously bought another door screen from a large retail store which ripped within weeks. So far, with 3 large dogs running in and out thru the screen numerous times a day, my screen door has held up wonderfully!

I had to only buy a few extra valcrows from Walmart since the one's that came with it didn't hold for long but overall it is a great product and makes it easier to come in and out instead of sliding our balcony screen door constantly. I love it!
BalasHapusI rent an apartment in a 1920s building in a historic district. Of course, screen doors are prohibited by the district guidelines, and all of my windows are painted shut. My porch door was my best option of letting some fresh air into the room.
BalasHapusI ordered this in spite of its stated 37" width, to see if I could still make it fit in my 31" porch door. If you're using the tension rod to put it up (rather than the velcro), this door is very easy to cut to size. And if you need to use velcro, it's easy to get some from a craft store and go whole-hog with your modification.
This does what it's supposed to do. Keep bugs out. I bought it for a 32" door to my garage/work shop. My back yard is a breeding ground for every sort of flying insect imaginable. My garage is also 3' lower than the yard, so mosquitoes, bees, wasps, flies, etc don't even have to work hard to get there ... than can coast in like a glider ready to bite and sting me. I installed this screen for an all day Saturday woodworking marathon and, as far as I could tell, no bugs got past. This product may have very well prevented me from catching West Nile virus ... we'll never know for sure.

This screen door is a life saver. I don't even understand how someone could have problems installing this...I question if those people should be driving if they are having problems with this! It comes with Velcro and a bar, the bar to twist to either expand to decreasing it so it fits in your door jam. The Velcro helps keeps bugs from coming in through any gaps, but I would HIGHLY suggest buying additional Velcro cause this does not come with enough. This combine with a baby gate keeps my cats inside the house and insects out! Please give this a try if you need a screen door, it really is simple to install and works great. Please believe me this is the best 20 bucks I have ever spent!
BalasHapusBought this as an alternative to installing a permanent screen door at our apartment. They offer you the option of either using a tension rod or velcro to hold up the screen. We opted for the tension rod and it works like a dream. It stays up with no problems and the weighted bottom keeps it in place when the breeze is blowing. Now we can enjoy the fresh air without all the bugs!
BalasHapusIt is a high quality screen and comes with everything to mount it, tension rod or Velcro. I put it in a 30in sliding door which is working fine and my dog can go in and out on her own. It is a little long for my door so it doesnt fall right back in place but still love it, much cheaper than special ordering a door! Shipping was really quick via ups which i prefer to usps. Great item!
