Coolaroo 317713 Replacement Cover Brunswick

My very ADHD LabShepard mix has lethal toenails! Can't tell you how many bed comforters I had to replace...so I knew this cover was at risk...Rocky LOVES this bed. He loves to hang on it out on my balcony...as an extension to his (my) room...he's 3 stories up level with pine trees and critters..able to view everything out front his house... one happy dog. So knowing the cover would not stand up to a Rocky toenail assault...I tried prevention...I got a simple, thinner doggie pillow bed and placed It on top. During weather I just grab the bed and set it under eaves where it stays relatively dry. My cover's nearly 3 yrs old...not a hole in site. Just wanted to share that simple solution with all you...thanks for loving your dogs! PS..just saw the bed pad Amazon has for this bed...coolaroo!! Just ordered one. Thanks Amazon!
Update 2013. Toenails not an issue. The Coolaroo is now on dog #2, same bed and original bed cover. No moldy yuckies under in rain or snow. My year old
black lab loves it and spends most his time laying on it, watching the birds and squirrels.

I have 4 dogs and a slew of cats.. my dog often has to fight my cats for space on HIS bed... Often I find them sleeping together. They love the Coolaroo bed. we have been using it for years!
These replacement covers are fairly easy to put on.. I love that they now have other colors available.

  3. Our two dogs love this bed. I was thrilled when I discovered I could order a replacement cover after a hole developed (after 2 years) in the original. We now have two beds - one on the deck and one next to the gate in the yard where our most anxious dog lies waiting to be let in. The beds are cool in summer and in winter a washable blanket on top adds warmth. Reasonably priced, easy to clean and very durable - a great product.

  6. I have two rescued greyhounds who have become very attached to their Coolaroo beds. When one of the beds failed after a number of years, I had to find a replacement cover. The price and service were better than expected.

I've had this bed since May 2009. I have had to replace twice and about to replace again due to dog teething, but it works and my dogs seem to enjoy it after a long day.

  8. These beds are great. They are economical. Even though with large dogs who like to circle their beds a lot, you end up replacing every six months because of their nails putting runs in the fabric, it still works out cheaper than buying fluffy beds that fall apart in the wash or get thrown aways because you just can't clean them. They are like little hammocks. The dogs love them if you put a blanket on top first. They are so easy to clean. Just vacuum underneath the beds, throw the blankets in the wash once a week and you're done. I have Great Danes and the large size is adequate. I would prefer the extra-large size but it's not available. The frame hold ups quite well. There is a little bending, but it's not broken and my dogs weight an average of 130 lbs.
